Mastercard and MrBeast court creators, Instagram tests 90-minute videos, and dividend funds rally

Tip of the day

Put your investing on autopilot with a fixed monthly amount

Instead of waiting for the 'right time' to invest, set up an automatic transfer of a fixed amount into a broad, low-cost fund every month, right after payday. In India this is a SIP (systematic investment plan); elsewhere brokers call it auto-invest or recurring investment. Because the amount is fixed, you buy more units when prices are low and fewer when they're high, and you never have to make a timing decision. Business Standard reports these steady SIP flows reached โ‚น2.51 trillion in India's first nine months of 2026.

๐Ÿงญ Reality check: effort & risk

Low effort: about 30 minutes to set up, then it runs itself. Only invest money you won't need for several years, keep your emergency fund separate, and check fees and taxes where you live. Markets can still fall and you can lose money; automating doesn't guarantee a profit, and stopping in a downturn is what usually hurts most. Not financial advice.
